Caspian Desen slouch jumper

Made using pure lambswool and cotton yarns this garment has a beautiful lightweight drape, perfect for all seasons. Inspired by the wonderful repeat patterns founds in the ceramic tiles, in the beautiful city of Lisbon, Portugal. This jumper is made and finished by hand with love and care. Perfect to pair up with jeans and trainers or of course with a light scarf and pair of heels for an afternoon or evening out.

The caspian blue wool is paired with a soft steel blue cotton yarn in the sleeve area, combined with tonal stone and opal blues that graduates up the sleeve. The cuff is fitted to the wrist with an elasticated detail, allowing the popsicle pink frilly cuff to flare at the top of the hand. There is a contrast stripe detail to match in the side seam. The body is a soft flat knit fabric in a square boxy shape with slash neck.

There are two sizes available to purchase, but we can custom make your jumper based on your requirements – please get in touch to discuss.

S/M – Chest 54cm, Length 54cm, sleeve length 45cm (suitable for UK 6-10)

M/L – Chest 57cm, Length 57cm, sleeve length 46.5cm (suitable for UK 10-14)

We can alternate length measurements if required, you can order the M/L chest but S/M length for example. Please comment at the checkout which size combination you require. Model is a garment size 8, 5.4ft in height and wears size S/M.

About Katie Victoria Textiles

Katie Victoria works at her studio in Swansea, South West Wales where she creates most of her collections. Working on a hand powered domestic knitting machine she creates a variety of fabrics and products from hats and scarves to ponchos and jumpers, combining high quality merino lambswool and cotton yarns. Taking inspiration from cultural architecture, Moroccan tile ceramics and Scandinavian textiles, she designs and creates individual fabrics for fashion and interiors.

Katie also works with a local factory in Carmarthenshire for her sock production, as well as a small traditional knitwear factory on the Scottish Borders.

Katie sells her collections across Britain in a variety of shops and galleries, whilst also receiving orders for her products worldwide. To date her designs have featured in the likes of embroidery magazine and Country living.

All of the yarn used in Katie’s products are spun and dyed at UK mills. The lambswool is of the finest quality merino and guaranteed to be mulesing free. Lambswool is the wool from the first shearing of the Merino sheep which gives it it’s soft touch quality.

Lambswool can be recycled, it’s sustainable and completely biodegradable, leaving no detrimental effects on the environment.
