This beautiful caspian ripple textured vest / tanktop is a perfect easy wear and luxury piece of knitwear. Pair up with a blouse or shirt and pop on your favourite pair of jeans, this garment is perfect for in between seasons.

Made using pure lambswool yarn, this garment has a cosy textured fabric and colourful trim detail, a unique garment for your wardrobe. Inspired by the wonderful patterns and colours found in ceramic tiles and cultural architecture in countries like Turkey, Morocco and Portugal. This vest is made and finished by hand with love and care. Perfect to pair up with jeans and trainers or of course with a light scarf and pair of heels for an afternoon or evening out.

The soft caspian blue wool is complimented with a pop trim of popsicle pink on the armhole and neck line. There is a subtle yet colourful stripe detail and pattern at the waist area. The body is a made of a slightly textured fabric which gives a stability and structure to the garment.

There are three sizes available to purchase, but we can custom make your vest based on your requirements – please get in touch to discuss. For example if you have a busty chest area but would like to keep other measurements smaller, we can combine the chest of a M/L with body and armhole size of S/M

XS/S – Chest 47cm, Length 53cm, Armhole 23cm (suitable for UK 6-10)

S/M – Chest 50cm, Length 55cm, armhole 24cm (suitable for UK 10-12)

M/L – Chest 53cm, Length 57cm, armhole 24.5cm (suitable for UK 12-14)

Wool is naturally breathable and reactive to body temperature, therefore can keep you warm in Winter yet cool in Summer. Lambswool is also odour resistant therefore you don’t need to wash your wool garments as often as you would clothing, a perfect investment piece for your wardrobe.

About Katie Victoria Textiles

Katie Victoria works at her studio in Swansea, South West Wales where she creates most of her collections. Working on a hand powered domestic knitting machine she creates a variety of fabrics and products from hats and scarves to ponchos and jumpers, combining high quality merino lambswool and cotton yarns. Taking inspiration from cultural architecture, Moroccan tile ceramics and Scandinavian textiles, she designs and creates individual fabrics for fashion and interiors.

Katie also works with a local factory in Carmarthenshire for her sock production, as well as a small traditional knitwear factory on the Scottish Borders.

Katie sells her collections across Britain in a variety of shops and galleries, whilst also receiving orders for her products worldwide. To date her designs have featured in the likes of embroidery magazine and Country living.

All of the yarn used in Katie’s products are spun and dyed at UK mills. The lambswool is of the finest quality merino and guaranteed to be mulesing free. Lambswool is the wool from the first shearing of the Merino sheep which gives it it’s soft touch quality.

Lambswool can be recycled, it’s sustainable and completely biodegradable, leaving no detrimental effects on the environment.
