Inspiration for this geometric design comes from the wonderful patterns found in ceramic tiles and cultural architecture in beautiful places like Turkey and Lisbon . Made from the highest quality lambswool yarn, this poncho is a perfect accessory to dress up a pair of jeans or to wear on a Summer or Winters evening.

The beautiful palette of larkspur blue is complemented with opal and natural clay, along with a subtle pop of popsicle pink in the patterned trim area – take it to keep you warm on a beach walk or throw it on later for a drink at the pub! About Katie Victoria Textiles

Katie Victoria works at her studio in Swansea, South West Wales where she creates most of her collections. Working on a hand powered domestic knitting machine she creates a variety of fabrics and products from hats and scarves to ponchos and jumpers, combining high quality merino lambswool and cotton yarns. Taking inspiration from cultural architecture, Moroccan tile ceramics and Scandinavian textiles, she designs and creates individual fabrics for fashion and interiors.

Katie also works with a local factory in Carmarthenshire for her sock production, as well as a small traditional knitwear factory on the Scottish Borders.

Katie sells her collections across Britain in a variety of shops and galleries, whilst also receiving orders for her products worldwide. To date her designs have featured in the likes of embroidery magazine and Country living.

All of the yarn used in Katie’s products are spun and dyed at UK mills. The lambswool is of the finest quality merino and guaranteed to be mulesing free. Lambswool is the wool from the first shearing of the Merino sheep which gives it it’s soft touch quality.

Lambswool can be recycled, it’s sustainable and completely biodegradable, leaving no detrimental effects on the environment.
