Caspian Desen Cowl Scarf

This beautifully soft cowl scarf is made by Katie at her studio in Wales, each scarf is made on a domestic knitting machine. Inspiration for this pattern design comes from Moroccan tile ceramics and architecture combined with traditional Welsh textiles. Made from the highest quality merino lambswool yarn, this cowl scarf is perfect to keep you warm without worrying about styling your scarf ends.

This unisex scarf combines colours of caspian blue and ash grey with a pop of rust orange in the stripe. These cowl scarves are small and lightweight enough to put in your bag or coat pocket and throw on when it gets a little chilly, or just to add an extra little accessory to your outfit. Perfect to pair up with jeans and a pair of Katie Victoria socks!

Lambswool is perfect for all weathers, wool is naturally temperature regulating, keeping you warm in Winter and cool in Summer months!

About Katie Victoria Textiles

Katie Victoria works at her studio in Swansea, South West Wales where she creates most of her collections. Working on a hand powered domestic knitting machine she creates a variety of fabrics and products from hats and scarves to ponchos and jumpers, combining high quality merino lambswool and cotton yarns. Taking inspiration from cultural architecture, Moroccan tile ceramics and Scandinavian textiles, she designs and creates individual fabrics for fashion and interiors.

Katie also works with a local factory in Carmarthenshire for her sock production, as well as a small traditional knitwear factory on the Scottish Borders.

Katie sells her collections across Britain in a variety of shops and galleries, whilst also receiving orders for her products worldwide. To date her designs have featured in the likes of embroidery magazine and Country living.

All of the yarn used in Katie’s products are spun and dyed at UK mills. The lambswool is of the finest quality merino and guaranteed to be mulesing free. Lambswool is the wool from the first shearing of the Merino sheep which gives it it’s soft touch quality.

Lambswool can be recycled, it’s sustainable and completely biodegradable, leaving no detrimental effects on the environment.
